Merlin's Dilemma

"Merlin's beard!" the wizard exclaimed.

All of a sudden a silvery beard fell out of nowhere at the man's feet and he cringed.

An irritated wizard stormed after his beard and placed it back on his face. "It would be nice if people would stop making exclamations concerning me and my various body parts or beard. I have to keep going all over the kingdom in pursuit of them."

"Because of some curse put on me by Morganna."

The man laughed. "Did she purpose a solution?"

"Aye, I have to apologize. But I'm not about to do that," Merlin scoffed, storming off.

The wizard grinned viciously.

"Merlin's leg!" he shouted after the moody wizard before using magic to disappear.

"Bloody cretin," Merlin muttered, narrowing his eyes.

However, after months of the aggravation of having to hunt down his various body parts, beard, hair, and even under garments Merlin had finally had enough.

"Morganna!" he cried. "I apologize! You were right and I was wrong."

"Good," the witch smiled. "I will remove the curse, but first things first...Merlin's beard." She snickered as the beard fell away from him, grinning mischievously.

The wizard sighed, knowing he could say nothing if he wanted the spell reversed, but he privately felt that Morganna was the most insufferable woman he had the displeasure of meeting.
